About Us

The concept for Ozark Soy Candles & More came to be about two years ago when the owner was looking for a home business that would be FUN and allow her to use some of her creative talents that had been “stowed away” for several years due to raising a family and working full time in the corporate world.

She came across a home business with a Gourmet Candle Company and because of the quality of the products decided this was exactly what she had been looking for! The candles are made from a proprietary formula of vegetables and other natural, renewable materials so they burn SOOT-FREE…no black soot!  The incredible fragrances last all the way to the end and the 100% cotton wicks allow for even burning all the way to the very last flicker!

Besides just retailing the candles and other gourmet products the company offers, she started creating custom gift baskets for friends, family, business associates and others in Northwest Arkansas.

In searching for unique packaging ideas, she discovered a line of beautiful organza bags which come in a variety of sizes and styles…some lacy and embroidered with sequins and beads, others that are sheer and elegant in every color of the rainbow and began to incorporate those filled with various goodies, gourmet candles in pretty holders, costume jewelry and seasonal gift items and the idea of wedding favors was borne. 

Hi, my name is Becca Mutz, and I am the owner of Ozark Soy Candles & More.

My husband, Robert, and I live in Bella Vista, Arkansas.  We have three adult sons, Eric Mahurin; Tim Mutz and wife, Marsha and children, Cameron and Ava; and Andrew Mutz and wife, Carol and their son, Case. 

We enjoy the great outdoors, fishing, boating, spending time at our “getaway retreat” south of Stillwater, OK, and spending time with family and friends.  Robert is an avid outdoorsman including hunting, fishing, and target shooting, and collects guns and motorcycles…what a life!  (He’s spoiled rotten!)  In addition to the above, I enjoy cooking, reading, movies, interior decorating, THIS BUSINESS and all of the new friends I make along the way!
